This thematic excursion includes regions where there Tibetan and Buddhist
communities are found, illustrating the diversity of the Chinese people and
aspects of their rich culture.
In contrast with Beijing and Shanghai, China’s two largest international
metropolises, the itinerary can also include: Chengdu, the capital of
Sichuan province, home of pandas; the Tibetan communities of Jiujiaigou
and/or Huanglong, also located in Sichuan; Shangri-la, the location
described in Lost Horizon; as well as the mysterious city of Lhasa, capital
of Tibet.
The itinerary of this program is designed according to the number of days
and the time of the year during which the excursion will be realized.
